Intertwined Sprang

Intertwining is quite different from both interlinking and interlacing in both it's structure and the method for working it.

The threads are worked in sets of four, with two threads twining around the other two threads. Each set of two threads works across the work on a diagonal.

The finished cloth has a very uniform appearance and does not stretch as much as interlinking does.

I have a basic tutorial on intertwining here.
